In the early hours of April 18th, 2020 Boston EMS Ambulance 4, Paramedic 2 and Division 2 with Boston Fire and Boston Police responded to the intersection Melnea Cass Blvd and Mass Ave for the reported MVA with injuries. On arrival a man was found unconscious but breathing in the drivers seat of his vehicle, car running, and in drive. The man had overdosed, causing him to become comatose behind the wheel, luckily only running into a curb at a low speed and not causing more harm to himself or a fellow motorist. The man was extricated and transported to a local area hospital and his car was towed.
WALTHAM, MA - At around 4:00 PM on Wednesday December 6, 2023, a vehicle struck and killed Officer Paul Tracey and an unidentified National Grid Worker from Cambridge. Peter Simon, 54, of Woodville, NH, has been charged in connection to the collision.
MIDDLETON, MA - First responders worked to free occupants trapped in a vehicle after it struck a tree and rolled over on N Liberty St. 5 Ambulances in total were requested to the scene with 4 victims transported. Life-threatening injuries were reported.
