Yesterday evening at approximately 18:06 hours, Boston Police received a noise complaint call from residents above the Bastille Kitchen at 45 Melcher Street in the Fort Point neighborhood of South Boston. Before any Units could be assigned and get there, at 18:20 hours additional calls for 45 Melcher began coming in for a fight with people possibly stabbed. Officers assigned to District C-11 quickly responded and confirmed that a person had been stabbed, locating the adult male victim on the second floor in the venue.

Boston EMS Paramedics and EMTs quickly stabilized the man and extricated him from the building to their awaiting ambulance. The situation was quite tense, with a large unruly crowd inside the venue as well as additional highly intoxicated persons outside who equally as rowdy.

As EMS was leaving with the first victim, a second victim appeared in a vehicle. The victim and friend were attempting to drive themselves to the hospital however due to the emergency vehicles on scene they were blocked in. As the victims condition worsened then soon realized they needed help and called out for assistance. He was quickly secured and transported to a local area hospital. Both victims that were transported had serious but non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to make a recovery.

Detectives and the Crime Scene Response Unit were called to the scene and it was processed accordingly. While this was happening a third stab victim walked into the MGH Emergency Department. This third subject also happened to fit the description of who was beloved to be the perpetrator. Detectives quickly identified the man however it is unclear if further action was taken.

At this time Boston Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made and that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
