More than 70 rounds were fired in two incidents in Roxbury earlier this week. Monday night at approximately 22:30 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-2 responded to Brunswick Street for reports of shots fired in the area.

A little under 50 spent shell casings were recovered from the scene, with ballistic damage evident to at least 5 vehicles and two homes nearby. Blood was found on scene, but no victim was located or presented to any hospitals in the area. Detectives processed the shell casings and photographed ballistic damage and remaining evidence. No arrests have been made in conjunction to the incident.

The following night, District B-2 Officers responded to Wayne Street, just a few blocks south, again for reports of shots fired. Around 30 shell casings were located this time, with two cars sustaining ballistic damage as a result. Detectives processed this evidence as well, but it is unsure if the two incidents are related.
