On Saturday, October 30, Boston Police Departments Hockey team held their second annual Halloween event at Orchard Gardens Boys and Girls Club.
This year over 75 children attended the spectacular event. They painted pumpkins and played hockey games with equipment the BPD Hockey team and the Boston Bruins helped provide for the center.
This year, the team was thankful to receive pumpkins donated by Lamberts Fruit Center, while the Boston Police Hockey Foundation paid for a mountain of pizzas, which were provided generously with a discount from Peel Pizza. Peel Pizza’s owner, Brendan Higgins, is a BC High graduate and has helped out with both Halloween events.
