On Friday, March 18, 2022 at approximately 23:00 hours officers from District C11 responded to the area of 237 Geneva Avenue for reports of a person shot.

Officers quickly located a juvenile male who appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds to his stomach and lower extremities. Full notes were called, as Boston EMS rapid transported the victim to an area hospital with serious life threatening injuries. Thankfully, by the morning, the victim was listed as being in stable condition.

Witnesses stated a male and female were seen fleeing the area, but at this time it is unknown if they were involved in the shooting. Detectives took control of the scene, and processed the evidence. This investigation remains ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
