Earlier this evening at approximately 20:30 hours Boston EMTs, Paramedics and Officers from District C-6 responded to Kings Bowling in the Seaport Neighborhood of South Boston. On arrival, sources tell us an adult male victim was located with injuries consistent with a knife attack including a slash to his neck.

The male victim was taken to a local area hospital where he is expected to survive. Quickly officers obtained a suspect description of the Kings employee who had committed the assault and a BOLO was radioed across the district.

Within 30 minutes, officers located the suspect, who was wearing a Kings Employee shirt, and took him into custody without further incident. While being walked to the cruiser multiple witness tell us he was screaming “you killed my sister”, and other remarks that made no sense. News cameras also captured his strange admission as he was taken into custody.

Unlike the bar ‘Sons of Boston’, where an employee stabbed and killed a patron back on Saint Patrick’s Day of this year, Kings is still open for business. Patrons could be seen coming and going as Detectives processed the scene inside of the restaurant and bowling alley. It is also unknown if the establishment will be cited by the city or be forced to shut down as Son’s of Boston was.
At approximately 10:00 hours Saturday morning Boston Police released a statement ID’ing the suspect as Dorian Jenkins, 20, of Boston. He is scheduled to be arranged in South Boston District Court on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
