On August 25 2022 at approximately 00:10 hours, Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police and C-11 Officers from the Boston Police Department conducted traffic stop on a vehicle that had been reported stolen in the area of Hancock Street and Jerome Street in Dorchester.

Troopers and Officers quickly removed both occupants of the vehicle and detained them while they investigated the status of the vehicle. The operator of the vehicle claimed that the vehicle was a “rental” from a friend on methadone mile and that they did not know the vehicle was stolen.

Upon further investigation by the police, the occupants claimed that the vehicle was a “rental” from a friend on methadone mile and that they did not know the vehicle was stolen. The occupants were cited and released and the car was towed for further investigation.
