At approximately 01:45 hours on Friday, November 18, Boston Police officers assigned to District B-3 responded to multiple shotspotter activations in the area of 8 Rich Street. There was also a 911 call that came in reporting the same incident.

Upon their arrival, Police immediately began scanning the area for witnesses and evidence. They quickly found multiple ballistic shell casings in the area which were all located extremely close to each other and a white vehicle parked on the street.

As A-1 officers were still investigating the scene, Police from District E-18 also spoke to a witness. An Uber driver presented his vehicle that sustained significant ballistic damage from the shooting on Rich Street. However, the driver did not have information on any possible suspects.

Police are still investigating this incident and there is no further information at this time. The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact B-3 Detectives at (617) 343-4712.
