At about 10:36 PM, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force, made an onsite firearm arrest of Samuel Frederick, 18, of Weymouth, MA., and Alexis Bourne, 27, of Brockton, MA., while in the area of 178 Tremont Street, Boston.

While on patrol in the area, officers observed a group of individuals drinking from an open bottle of alcohol. Officers also observed one of the individuals grab the front right side of his waistband. After further investigation, officers approached the group and recovered a firearm from the waistband of Mr. Frederick.
The firearm was determined to be a 9mm, attached with a laser and loaded with ten rounds of ammunition in the magazine. Ms. Bourne was also found to be in possession of a firearm that was located in her waistband area. The firearm was determined to be a Glock 19, attached with a laser and was loaded with twenty-eight rounds of ammunition in the magazine.
Both suspects were placed under arrest and charged with; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. They were both arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
