Two people were hospitalized early Wednesday morning, May 10, 2023, after a double shooting in the area of the Dublin House, according to local authorities. The shooting took place on Humphreys Street, with the victims fleeing in a red sedan down Dudley Street, eventually ending up in front of the Dublin House.
Boston Police arrived on the scene just before 12:30 AM and both victims were transported to area hospitals by Boston EMS. According to police, the male victim was shot once, while the female victim was shot twice, including in the chest. Despite their injuries, both are expected to survive.
Investigators quickly arrived at the scene and blocked off Humphrey Street. At this time, no arrests have been made and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
