ROXBURY, MA – On the evening of September 25, 2023, at approximately 6:30 PM, Boston Police responded to the area of Balfour Street in Boston for a 911 call reporting a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers determined the suspect was no longer on scene and had stolen the victims car.
According to the Boston Police, the incident began when the suspect stabbed a man in the area of 34 Balfour St. Boston Police arrived at the scene to investigate the incident, securing the area and tending to the victim. The wounded individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital. Thankfully, the victim’s injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
Following the stabbing, the assailant allegedly made a quick escape by stealing the victim’s vehicle, described by Boston Police as a Black Honda Accord. As the suspect fled the scene in the stolen vehicle, Boston Police immediately issued a “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) alert to all law enforcement agencies in the region, setting off a citywide manhunt to locate and apprehend the suspect.
It is unknown at this time if a suspect has been identified, or if the victim’s vehicle has been located. The Boston Police Department is urging anyone with information related to this case to contact their anonymous tip line at 1-800-494-TIPS, or to reach out to their local precinct. The investigation remains ongoing.
