BOSTON, MA – On a rainy afternoon on October 16th, 2023, many protestors once again took to the streets to show their support for the Israel-Palestinian conflict. This time, the protests broke out in Copley square right in front of the Boston Public Library. Members of the Boston Police Department and Massachusetts State Police came out to provide on-site security for all the protestors.

Starting roughly around 5:00pm local time, many gathered around the historic and famous Boston Public Library breaking out in chants and speeches from members of the community. Around the same time traffic around the area, most notably Dartmouth Street was blocked off by Boston Police to ensure the safety of the protestors.

After about two hours, the protestors started moving down Boylston Street to parade around the City. The protestors stood in front of the Israel Consulate all the while chanting and showing signs that showed their support to the Palestinians.

At around 8:00pm, the protestors made way to their final destination in Copley to do a final rally of support. At the end, Boston Police reported no injuries or property damage bringing a peaceful conclusion to another highly emotional protest with the safety and peace maintained.
