BOSTON, MA – On October 16th, 2023 Massachusetts State Police responded to a call of a person down on Carson beach early Monday morning.
Boston EMS and Troopers from Troop H descended down to the beach at around 07:00am local time, where an adult female was found to be unresponsive, later to be pronounced deceased. Upon the death notification, a State Police investigator from Suffolk County and the State Police Crime Scene unit were dispatched to process the scene. Massachusetts State Police said in a public release that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will be conducting an autopsy on the female to find out the cause of death.
Many members of the community were shocked to hear the news, but some expressed that they were not surprised because this is an frequent occurrence in the area.
No further information is available at this time. The identity of the woman has not been released.
