REVERE, MA – At 35 years young, Fire Fighter Steven M. Ferrante, Jr. from the Revere Fire Department passed away. This was announced by the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts on X (formerly Twitter). He was known by his fellow brothers, sisters, and family as a bright character, a person to always have an ‘infectious smile’, and someone that radiated love from his heart.

Being a 3rd generation Fire Fighter, his family was always committed to keeping the residents of Revere safe. Notably his father Steven M. Ferrante, Sr. whom served as a Captain at the Revere Fire Department, his uncle who was the Deputy Chief of the Revere Fire Department.

Fire departments across the state came to show support, including the Everett Fire Department, Chelsea Fire Department, Lexington Fire Department, along with several other. Family and friends of the fire fighters were also in attendance of this wake.
