SAUGUS, MA – A single vehicle accident left a vehicle totaled but luckily the occupants were left unscathed.
At around 8:30pm, Saugus Police and Fire responded to reports of a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Forest Street in the area of Zito Drive. Upon a swift arrival, they had determined that the occupants of the vehicle had sustained minor injuries and did not require immediate medical attention.
Soon after, McGarvey’s Towing and National Grid were called to extract the vehicle from the wood lines as well as inspect the pole that was next to the vehicle. According to local residents, this area is known for motor vehicle crashes so this crash came with little surprise.
All assets on scene made swift efforts in order to clean up any debris and damages caused by the accident. The scene was cleared fairly quickly and the surrounding roads were released for public access shortly after the initial wreck.
