LEXINGTON, MA – A suspect is now on the run after committing armed robberies in Lexington and Burlington, MA.
On Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at approximately 1:30 pm, a white male, described to be in his mid to late 60’s committed an armed robbery at the Stop & Shop located right off of Bedford Street. It is said that he held a female victim at knifepoint. The suspect successfully robbed the victim and ran. The victim was not injured in this robbery. It’s been noted that he was found using the stolen debit card of the victim in two separate locations.
Shortly before on the same day, the same suspect committed an armed robbery at the Sonesta Simply Suites in Burlington. The suspect alleged that he held the front desk worker at knifepoint and demanded money. The employee working the desk at the hotel was able to escape unharmed.
The suspect is described to be a white male in his mid to Late 60s, roughly 5’10”, with a thin build of roughly 165 lbs. He is said to be driving a Toyota 4Runner, White in color, roughly about the 2013-2017 model.
